Thanks! I thought the penitent Mary Magdalen suited the Lenten season; and it is such a beautiful and thoughtful painting.

She really does. There's also this wonderful springtime quality...I love her serenity.

I think Van der Weyden was a wonderful artist... and Flemish! So he suits the Belgian theme here...
