Portraits of Princess Stephanie
Stephanie (1864-1945), born Princess of Belgium, as Crown Princess of Austria-Hungary. Another painting of Stephanie. A painting of Stephanie and her husband, Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria-Hungary, on a walk in the countryside.
Yes, I can't understand why her mother-in-law, Sissi, was so mean about her looks- apparently she called her a "moral heavyweight," an "elephant," and criticized her "yellow hair."
Don't be too hard on Sissi, her mother-n-law treated her even worse. Maybe Sissi was just venting on Stephanie. Sissi was wrong though. Stephanie was a beauty, & from what I've read a real sweetheart as well.
She is absolutely beautiful. I especially love the first painting of her. Thanks:)
