A Drawing

At Lucy's request, I am posting a drawing I did of Lilian Baels, based on this lovely photograph of the princess:

Of course, I did not do her justice, but at any rate, it was fun to try to draw this beauty. I think I will keep trying...

She really is a beauty:) And you drew her beautifully as well! I love combining art with history and this is a great way to express ourselves and in some way connect to the historical person and leave our own tiny historical piece about them;)

Matterhorn, you gotta keep doing this- you're good at it. I love black and white sketches too- Keep me posted on this talent of yours:)

Oh, thank you, you're very kind! And I love what you say about leaving a tiny historical piece about them. I guess that is what I am always trying to do on this blog- make a small contribution to keeping these people's memory alive.

Matterhorn, you compliment me about my Romanov paintings, but I would not try a drawing! I think that is far more difficult than painting! As I show on my videos, I make many( many) mistakes on my way to a finished painting...but a drawing gives one little chance of doing that! I congratulate you on your art work! Keep it up!
