The Royal Nursery

Queen Astrid with her youngest son, Prince Albert.
Princess Josephine-Charlotte and Prince Baudouin with their new little brother.

I always find it very sad to think how these children must have suffered, between losing their mother at such a young age, living through war, deportation, and imprisonment, and, finally, during the "Royal Question," seeing their father so horribly attacked.

Such a tender picture of these children. Just seeing this picture and then thinking of what they had to go through. How they must have been affected by all of it. That's the beauty of pictures though; you can hold time still and enjoy the moment as precious as it is. Thanks.

Yes, I'm very grateful for photography! It's lovely to capture such tender moments, so we can see them so much later.
